I have been wanting to get into wood working for a very long time. Now I am finally going to do it. A friend of mine who is a carpenter is going to help me get started. And I have picked my first project. It’s going to be a piece of oak furniture that will replicate something I saw on the Internet. It’s a book shelf.
Having a friend who is already into woodworking will make things a lot easier. He already has all the tools that I will need for this first project. That way I don’t have to make any big investments in tools before I give woodworking a try. Once that oak bookshelf is complete, I have a spot to put it in my house. I’m going to put the shelf in my office, where I can finally pull my books out of storage and put them on display.
